ทำไม?? แต่งงานต้องมี "เพื่อนเจ้าสาว''

เพื่อนเจ้าสาว เขาก็มีไว้ยืนเฉยๆ นั่นแหละเพราะสมัยก่อน ผู้หญิงไทยมักถูกเลี้ยงให้อยู่แต่ในบ้านจึงออกจะเก้อเขิน หรือตกประหม่าเมื่อต้องออกงานสังคมโดยเฉพาะในพิธีสมรสซึ่งเป็นวันสำคัญของชีวิตการมีเพื่อนเจ้าสาวจึงทำให้สาวเจ้าอุ่นใจและไม่เคอะเขินจนเป็นลมไปเสียก่อน---นี่ว่าตามคอนเสปต์แบบไทยๆ

ส่วนทางตะวันตกในยุคโบราณนั้น เจ้าสาวกับเพื่อนเจ้าสาวมองดูเหมือนกันมากจนแทบจะแยกไม่ออกเจ้าสาวเลือกเพื่อนเจ้าสาวที่รูปร่างหน้าตาคล้ายเธอที่สุดและในวันงานเจ้าสาวกับเพื่อนเจ้าสาวก็ยังแต่งตัวด้วยชุดที่เหมือนกันไม่ผิดเพี้ยนความเหมือนนี้เป็นอุบายที่คนโบราณคิดขึ้น เพื่อลวงให้วิญญาณชั่วร้ายสับสนเนื่องจากเชื่อกันว่าวิญญาณชั่วร้ายอาจริษยาในความสุขและโชคลาภที่กำลังจะมาสู่เจ้าสาวดังนั้นเจ้าสาวจึงแวดล้อมตัวเองด้วยเพื่อนเจ้าสาวซึ่งเหมือนเธอราวกับแกะ ยิ่งเพื่อนเจ้าสาวมีจำนวนมากเท่าใด  ยิ่งประกันความปลอดภัยของเจ้าสาวเพิ่มขึ้นเท่านั้น(คล้ายกับคติความเชื่อของคนไทยที่ว่า “คนเดียวหัวหาย สองคนเพื่อนตาย”)
ตามกฎของอาณาจักรโรมัน การแต่งงานจำต้องมีสักขีพยาน ๑๐ คน นักประวัติศาสตร์บางคนจึงเชื่อว่า ธรรมเนียมเพื่อนเจ้าบ่าวเจ้าสาวในปัจจุบันน่าจะสืบทอดมาจากยุคโรมันโบราณ

ในเวลาต่อมาเพื่อนเจ้าบ่าวเพื่อนเจ้าสาวมีภารกิจเพิ่มขึ้น โดยต้องทำหน้าที่บอดี้การ์ดให้แก่คู่สมรสด้วย ทั้งนี้ดังปรากฏหลักฐานว่าในสมัยกลางนั้นถือเป็นเรื่องปรกติธรรมดาที่ชายผู้หมายปองเจ้าสาวแต่ไม่สมหวังมักพาสมัครพรรคพวกบุกเข้าชิงตัวเจ้าสาวไปในระหว่างพิธีแต่งงาน

เชื่อกันว่าหญิงสาวผู้ทำหน้าที่เป็นเพื่อนเจ้าสาวนั้นจะนำทั้งลางดีและลางร้ายมาสู่ตนเอง ตัวอย่างเช่น ถ้าเธอสะดุดล้มระหว่างทางเดินไปยังแท่นพิธี เธอจะหมดโอกาสแต่งงานโดยสิ้นเชิง และถ้าหญิงสาวคนใดทำหน้าที่เป็นเพื่อนเจ้าสาวครบสามครั้ง เธอต้องอยู่เป็นโสดไปตลอดชีวิต ยกเว้นแต่ว่าเธอจะทำหน้าที่เพื่อนเจ้าสาวอีกสี่ครั้งรวมเป็นเจ็ดครั้งทั้งนี้เพราะสำหรับผู้ที่เชื่อถือโชคลางแล้วเลขเจ็ด---จำนวนวันของสัปดาห์ถือเป็นเลขนำโชคเกี่ยวเนื่องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของระยะต่าง ๆ ของดวงจันทร์

ส่วนผู้ที่ไม่เชื่อถือโชคลางก็แย้งว่าสำหรับหญิงสาวผู้บากบั่นทำหน้าที่เป็นเพื่อนเจ้าสาวมาถึงเจ็ดครั้งเจ็ดคราแล้วการเปลี่ยนแปลงใด ๆ ที่จะเกิดขึ้นต่อตัวเธอนั้นย่อมต้องเป็นไปในทางที่ดีขึ้นแน่นอน

ความเชื่อโบราณ อะไรดี ? ไม่ดี ? กับ หญิงสาว

 เป็นความเชื่อที่บอกต่อกันมานาน เราก็เลยเก็บมาฝาก  จริงหรือไม่ ลองไปสืบเพิ่มกันมา หรือถามคนรู้ก่อนกันก็ได้ จะเชื่อหรือไม่ ไม่เป็นไร ถือว่าเป็นความรู้เพิ่มเติม

1. ของใหม่ควร หรือ ไม่ควรใส่วันไหน
Don’t อังคาร :  เพราะจะทะเลาะกะแฟน
Don’t เสาร์ :  จะมีเรื่อเสียใจ หรือ เสียความรู้สีก
Do จันทร์ :  จะเพิ่มเสน่ห์
Do ศุกร์ :  ใครเห็นก็เอ็นดู อยากเข้ามาคุยด้วย

2. เครื่องประดับที่ไม่ควรห้อยดิดตัวคือกรงนก : เก๋ แต่เหมือนเรากักขังตัวเอง ขาดอิสระ
จระเข้ : เป็นความหมายของการหักหลัง มีศัตรู ความเจ้าเล่ห์

3. ใส่เครื่องประดับ หรือเสื้อผ้าลายหัวกะโหลกวันเสาร์  จะทำให้มีพลังลึกลับ

4. ชาวตะวันตกเชื่อว่าใส่ตุ้มหูรูปเกือกม้า  จะขับไล่ความโชคร้ายที่ลอบเข้ามาหาเราออกไป

5. ออกเดทวันเสาร์  ใส่เสื้อผ้าสีดำ จะทำให้คุณมีเสน่ห์

6. ออกเดทวันศุกร์  ควรใส่เสือผ้าสีโทนฟ้าพาสเทล น้ำเงินสว่าง จะดูเท่ มีสไตล์ คนที่ไปเดทกับคุณจะอยากคบคุณแบบจริงจัง มากกว่าแค่เดทแก้เหงา แต่ถ้าใส่เสื้อผ้าสีดำออกเดทวันศุกร์ เขาอาจไม่คิดจริงจังกับคุณ

7. ห้ามให้น้ำหอมคนรัก  อาจเลิกกัน ถ้าให้ก็ต้องของเงินเขาห้าบาท สิบบาทก็ได้

8. ห้ามใช้น้ำหอมของเพื่อน  อาจทะเลาะกัน เหมือนที่คำโบราณที่ว่า เสือสองตัวอยู่ถ้ำเดียวกันไม่ได้ กลิ่นน้ำหอมก็เหมือนกลิ่นสาปเสือ

9. ห้ามให้รองเท้าคนรัก  เพราะเขาอาจเดินจากคุณไป

10. ชาวยิปซีเชื่อว่า ถ้าช่วงไหนคุณรู้สึกดวงไม่ดี ให้เอาเกลือไปโรยไว้หน้าบ้าน
+ ถ้าวางโทรศัพท์ไว้บนโต๊ะทำงานมุมซ้าย โทรศัพท์จะดังมีแต่เรื่องเครียดๆ
+ แต่ถ้าย้ายมาวางไว้มุมขวา จะทำให้คุณได้ยินแต่ข่าวดี ที่ทำให้คุณยิ้มออก

11. วันตัดผมยอดฮิต  คือ วันศุกร์ จะมีเสน่ห์ ตัดผมวันอาทิตย์จะอายุยืน
ตัดผมวันจันทร์จะมีแต่คนรัก และไม่ควรตัดผมวันอังคาร เพราะจะมีแต่เรื่องเสียน้ำตา

12. อย่าใช้ของมีตำหนิ  หรือของที่คนรักให้แล้วมีตำหนิ เช่น ตุ้มหูข้างเดียว ให้เก็บไปเลยไม่ต้องใช้ เพราะจะทำให้ชีวิตคู่ไม่ราบรื่น หรือได้คู่ที่ผ่านคนอื่นมา ความรักของคุณจะอยู่ในภาวะไม่ชัดเจน

13. กระเป๋าตังค์ขาด  ให้ทิ้งซะ เหมือนกับทำให้เงินรั่วไหล เก็บเงินไม่อยู่

14. คนจีนเชื่อว่า ใส่แหวนนิ้วก้อย  จะไม่ต้องทำงานหนัก  ใส่กำไรหยก จะมีอำนาจ สุขภาพดี

15. บนโต๊ะทำงานมุมขวาให้เอาดินสอเหลาใส่แก้ววางไว้  หัวสมองจะปลอดโปร่ง ปัญญาเฉียบแหลม

16. เขียนชื่อเราและคนรักด้วยเข็มบนลิปติกแท่งใหม่  แล้วใช้ทาปากทุกวันอย่าให้ใครใช้ เชื่อว่าผู้ชายคนนั้นจะคิดถึงคุณ แต่คุณก็ต้องคิดถึงเขาจริงๆ นะ ไม่ใช่อยากเอาชนะ

17. คนไทยโบราณเชื่อว่า เวลาเข้าบ้านใหม่ต้องยกข้าวสารเข้าบ้าน  แล้วบ้านนี้จะไม่อดอยากสมบูรณ์พูนสุขตลอดเวลา และอย่าลืมเอาสร้าย แหวน เงิน ทอง ใบเงิน ใบทอง ใส่ไว้ในถังข้าวสารด้วย จะได้มีเงินทองไหลมาเทมา

Courage the Cowardly Dog 

 

 Courage the Cowardly Dog is an American animated television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network. Its central plot revolves around a somewhat anthropomorphic pink dog named Courage who lives with his owners, Muriel and Eustace Bagge, an elderly, married farming couple in the "Middle of Nowhere" (the fictional town of Nowhere, Kansas). Courage and his owners are frequently thrown into bizarre misadventures, often involving the paranormal/supernatural and various villains. The show is known for its surreal, often disquieting humor and bizarre plot twists. The series combines elements of comedy horror, science fantasy, and drama.

The program originated from a short on Cartoon Network's animation showcase series created by Hanna-Barbera president Fred Seibert, "What A Cartoon!" titled "The Chicken from Outer Space".^[1]

Plot

 Courage the Cowardly Dog follows a dog named Courage, an easily frightened canine who lives in a farmhouse with Muriel and Eustace Bagge near the fictional town of Nowhere, Kansas. Abandoned as a puppy, Courage was adopted by Muriel Bagge (a sweet-natured Scottish woman), and her husband Eustace (a grumpy, greedy farmer who enjoys scaring Courage with a large, bright green, bug-eyed mask). Courage, Eustace, and Muriel frequently run into monsters, aliens, demons, mad scientists, zombies, and other perils that Courage must fend off to save his owners. Although most of the creatures that the three face are frightening or disturbing, some turn out to be sweet or simply in distress.

Hansel and Gretel

A poor woodcutter and his wife had two children named Hansel and Gretel. Their mother died when they were young. Hansel and Gretel were very sad. Soon their father remarried but their stepmother was very cruel. One day, she took the children deep into the forest and left them there. Clever Hansel had some breadcrumbs in his pocket and had dropped them on the way so that they could find their way back home. Alas! The birds ate all the crumbs and they couldn’t find the path that led back home.
Hansel and Gretel went deeper and deeper into the forest. They were hungry and tired. Finally, after walking for a long time, they saw a cottage made of chocolate, candies, and cake. “Look, Hansel! A chocolate brick!” shouted
Gretel in delight and both ate it hungrily.
Now, a wicked witch lived there. When she saw Hansel and Gretel, she wanted to eat them. She grabbed the chil­dren and locked them in a cage. The witch decided to make a soup out of Hansel and eat him first. She began boiling a huge pot of water for the soup. Just then, Gretel crept out of her cage. She gave the wicked witch a mighty push from behind and the witch fell into the boiling water. She howled in pain and died instantly. Hansel and Gretel found treasure lying around the cottage. They carried it home with them. Their stepmother had died and their father wel­comed them back with tears of joy. They never went hungry again!

ประวัติ Martin Guitars

ผู้เขียนเองชื่นชอบกีต้าร์โปร่ง อยู่หลายๆ ยี่ห้อ นั่นเป็นเพราะว่า
กีต้าร์โปร่งแต่ยี่ห้อ ล้วนมีเอกลักษณ์ จุดเด่น และความน่าสนใจ แตกต่างกันออกไป

กีต้าร์โปร่ง ที่ผู้เขียนกำลังจะพูดถึงนี้ เป็นทั้งผู้บุกเบิก ผู้นำ และผู้เป็นตำนาน ของกีต้าร์โปร่ง
(Flap Top) หรือกีต้าร์โปร่งสายเหล็ก 

หากไม่มีซึ่งกีต้าร์โปร่งยี่ห้อ.....นี้ ผู้เขียนยังนึกไม่ออกเหมือนกันว่า ทิศทางของกีต้าร์โปร่ง จะเป็นอย่างไร

ไม่ว่าจะเป็น การออกแบบรูปทรง การสร้างโทนเสียง องค์ประกอบอื่นๆ ล้วนเป็นสุดยอดศิลปะ ขั้นเทพจริงๆ

คิดดูละกัน สิ่งใดก็ตาม ที่ถูกออกมาแบบมาเป็นร้อยปี แต่วันนี้ยังได้รับความนิยมอยู่ นั่นหมายความว่าอย่างไร?
มันต้องไม่ธรรมดาแน่นอนใช่ไหมครับ 

ผู้เขียนกำลังพูดถึง "Martin Guitar" ผู้คิดค้น บุกเบิก และ นำทาง ให้กับ Flap Top Guitar 

ประวัติ Martin Guitar หรือ C.F. Martin & Company

ครอบครัวนี้ เป็นชาวเยอรมัน ได้อพยพ ย้ายถิ่นฐานมาจากเยอรมัน (Germany)
และ มาปักหลักอยู่ที่อเมริกา ใน New York เป็นที่แรก ในปี 1833 ก่อนจะย้ายมาที  Nazareth, Pennsylvania ในปี 1838

ครอบครัว Martin เป็นครอบครัว ทำอาชีพช่างไม้ งานหลักคือ การทำฟอนิเจอร์ไม้ มาตั้งแต่ต้น
และได้เริ่มทำไวโอลิน (Violin) ในเวลาใกล้เคียง ซึ่งถือเป็นเครื่องดนตรี ประเภทอะคูสติก ที่ได้รับความนิยมมาก ในเวลานั้น 

ในยุคนั้น กีต้าร์โปร่ง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผู้เล่น หรือ ช่างทำกีต้าร์โปร่ง ก็ตาม จะถูกมองว่าเป็นคนชั้นลอง(ชั้นทางสังคม)
ส่วนผู้เล่นไวโอลิน หรือเครื่องดนตรีที่ใกล้เคียงกันนี้ จะถูกยกให้เป็นคนอีกละดับหนึ่ง
ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าจะดูดี และมีระดับมากกว่า นั่นอาจจะเพราะว่า ดนตรี classic ได้รับความนิยม มากกว่าดนตรี Folk
เรียกว่า ดนตรี Folk สำหรับชนชั้นแรงงาน หากใครเดินเล่นกีต้าร์โปร่ง อาจจะถูกมองด้วยหางตา ประมาณว่า ของเล่นชนชั้นแรงงาน

ดังนั้น ทั้งกีต้าร์โปร่ง และคนทำกีต้าร์ จึงไม่ได้รับความนิยมแบบแพร่หลาย เช่นในสมัยนี้
แต่จะเล่นกันอยู่ชนชั้นแรงงาน เฉพาะกลุ่ม เท่านั้น

"Christian Frederick Martin ผู้บุกเบิก Martin Guitars"
และเป็นผู้ให้กำเนิด Flap Top Guitar หรือกีต้าร์โปร่งสายเหล็ก ที่เราเล่นกันอยู่ในทุกๆ วันนี้

Martin Guitar เริ่มต้นในปี 1833 โดย "Christian Frederick Martin"

ในยุคต้นกำเนิด Martin Guitar เป็นเพียงธุรกิจเล็กๆใน New York
ทำมาค้าขายเครื่องดนตรี ในแบบหาเลี้ยงปากท้อง และครอบครัว ไม่ได้เป็นธุระกิจที่ใหญ่โต หรือมีชื่อเสียง

ยุคแรกๆ Martin เอง ก็ไม่ได้มีความรู้ ความเชี่ยวชาญ ในการสร้างกีต้าร์โปร่ง(Flap top)

อย่างที่ว่าไปแล้ว คือ ทาง Marin เอง เชียวชาญในการสร้างไวโอลิน(Violin) มากกว่าพวกกีต้าร์โปร่ง
แต่ว่าโชคดีที่ทาง Martin สนใจการสร้างกีต้าร์ มาตั้งแต่อายุ 15 ปี ในเวลานั้นเอง....
เขาได้รับวิชาการทำกีต้าร์ มาจาก Johan Stauffer ถือเป็นครูคนแรกของ Martin
( Johan Stauffer เป็นคนแรกๆ ที่มีความรู้ในการสร้าง Guitar , Violin และ Cello ในกรุง Vienna, Austria )

Martin ได้ลองสร้างกีต้าร์ ตามแบบอิทธิผลที่ได้รับการแนะนำ จาก Johan Stauffer

Stauffer Guitar ในยุคโบราณ
ก่อนที่จะกลายมาเป็น กีต้าร์โปร่งสายเหล็ก หรือ Flat Top Guitar 

ในยุคต้นๆ ของ Martin จะพบว่า รูปแบบ และ เอกลักษณ์ ของ Martin Guitar
จะมีความคล้ายกับ Stauffer Guitar อยู่หลายประการ เช่น รูปแบบของหัวกีต้าร์ หรือ Headstock,
สายที่ใช้ใส่กีต้าร์ (Strings) ซึ่งจะใช้สายประเภทสายไนกัท (Nylgut Strings) คล้ายสายไนล่อนของกีต้าร์คลาสสิค
ส่วน Bracing จะเป็น Fan Bracing เหมือนกับกีต้าร์ไนล่อน (clssic guitar)
และรวมไปถึง Bridge ก็จะเป็นแบบ ปิรามิด (Pyramid)

"ลักษณะของ X-Bracing"

ก้าวมาถึง ในช่วงปี คศ. 1840 ทาง Martin ได้เริ่มพัฒนากีต้าร์สายเหล็ก หรือ Flat Top แบบจริงๆ จังๆ
ในจุดนี้เอง คือ ก้าวย่างอันสำคัญ และยิ่งใหญ่เป็นอย่างมาก ของ Martin Guitar 

มีการเปลี่ยนแปลง และพัฒนา หลายๆ อย่าง โดยเฉพาะการคิดค้น "Bracing" แบบใหม่...
(Bracing คือโครงค้ำภายในตัวกีต้าร์ให้มีความแข็งแรง และมีส่วนสำคัญต่อลักษณะโทนเสียงด้วย) 

จากเดิมที่เคยใช้ Fan-Bracing ก็หันมาใช้ "X-Bracing"
รูปแบบ "X Bracing" ที่ถูกคิดค้น และพัฒนาโดย Martin ซึ่งถือเป็นต้นแบบที่สำคัญต่อกีต้าร์โปร่งในยุคต่อๆมา
โดย X-Bracing ที่ว่านี้ ยังคงได้รับความนิยมอย่างต่อเนื่อง จากอดีต มาถึงปัจจุบัน 

(เรื่อง X-bracing ยังมีอะไรสนุกๆ อีกเยอะ ผู้เขียนขอข้ามไปก่อน และอาจจะมาคุยในโอกาสต่อๆไป)

มาถึงปี คศ. 1929 เป็นปีทีสำคัญอีกครั้ง ของ Martin Guitar ในเรื่องการปรับเปลี่ยนขนาดของกีต้าร์โปร่ง
จากเดิมที่ Martin เคยทำกีต้าร์โปร่งทรง O-size เป็นกีต้าร์คอ 12 fret เรียกแบบบ้านๆ ว่า "กีต้าร์คอสั้น ตัวยาว"
ก็ปรับเปลี่ยนมาเป็นกีต้าร์คอ 14 fret คือ การทำให้คอกีต้าร์ยาวขึ้น เพื่อให้สามารถเล่น note ได้สูงขึ้น
มีความหลากหลาย และมีรสชาติในการเล่น มากขึ้น ถือเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงอันสำคัญที่เดียว

ตามภาพประกอบข้างต้น คือ กีต้าร์ Martin ยุคโบราณ

จากเดิมกีต้าร์โปร่ง ทรง O-size ยุคดั้งเดิม จะมี scale 24.9" (วัดจาก nut มาถึง saddle)
เมื่อปรับเป็น 14 fret ความยาวจะเปลี่ยนเป็น 25.4" นิ้ว

"Perry Bechtel ผู้จุดประกายให้เกิด Martin OOO 14 Fret"

ผู้จุดประกายให้ Martin ทำกีต้าร์โปรง คอยาว 14 fret ก็คือ "Perry Bechtel" 

"Perry Bechtel" นักดนตรีที่มีชื่อเสียงในยุคนั้น เขามีฝีไม้ลายมือ ในการเล่น Banjo เป็นอย่างมาก
ในขณะนั้น Perry Bechtel กำลังจะหันมาเล่นกีต้าร์โปร่ง จึงได้ร้องขอ/ แนะนำให้กับ Martin ว่า น่าจะทำกีต้าร์คอยาว 14 Fret
ไม่ต้องแปลกใจว่าทำไม Perry Bechtel จึงอยากให้ Martin ทำกีต้าร์โปร่งคอยาว 14 fret ก็เพราะว่าเขาเล่น Banjo อยู่
คงจะไม่ถนัดที่จะเล่นกีต้าร์โปร่งคอสั้นแค่ 12 Fret เพราะเล่นโน๊ต ได้น้อยเกินไป

ณ ช่วงเวลานั้น กระแสความนิยม ในการเล่นกีต้าร์โปร่ง เริ่มมา ดนตรีสไตล์ Bluegrass /
Country Music / Folk เริ่มเฟื้องฟูอย่างต่อเนื่อง กีต้าร์ Martin ก็เริ่มโด่งดังในยุคนี้ เช่นกัน

ถามว่า ทำไม Martin Guitar ถึงได้โด่งดังในยุคนั้นมากๆ คำตอบที่ผมคิด ก็น่าจะเพราะว่า
Martin ได้ทำกีต้าร์โปร่ง (Flat Top) ได้ล้ำสมัยกว่าใครๆ ในยุคนั้น
ทั้งด้านการออกแบบ ทั้งด้านเทคนิค การทำให้เกิดเสียงที่สมบูรณ์แบบ ถูกใจผู้เล่น ฯลฯ

ลูกบิด(Tuner) สมัยเก่า จะเป็น banjo tuners
โดยได้รับอิทธิผล/ดัดแปลงมาจากลูกบิดของ Banjo

มาดูเรื่องไม้ที่ใช้ประกอบทำกีต้าร์ Martin กันบ้าง ว่าเขานิยมใช้ไม้อะไร

กีต้าร์ Martin ในสมัยนั้น จะเลือกใช้ไม้หน้า(top) เป็น solid Adirondack Spruce
ส่วนไม้หลัง(back) และข้าง(side) เป็นไม้ solid Brazilian Rosewood
คอกีต้าร์(Neck Wood) ยังนิยมใช้ Mahogany ด้วยว่าเป็นไม้เนื้อแข็ง มีน้ำหนักเบา

ในช่วงที่ดนตรีประเภท bluegrass (country music) เฟื้องฟู เป็นที่นิยมเล่น
กีต้าร์สายเหล็ก (flap top) จึงเป็นเครื่องดนตรีอีกชิ้น ที่ร่วมเล่นในวง bluegrass 

เครื่องดนตรีหลายๆ ชิ้นในวง Bluegrass จะให้เสียงที่ดัง ซึ่งมันดังมาก
ไม่ว่าจะเป็น fiddle, banjo, mandolin, หรือ Dobro ก็ตาม 

เครื่องดนตรีเหล่านี้ กลบเสียงกีต้าร์โปร่งสายเหล็ก อย่าง O-size สะจนกลายเป็นแค่ไม้ประดับในวง เท่านั้น

กีต้าร์ขนาด O-size จึงไม่สามารถตอบสนอง ความต้องการของผู้เล่นได้ (ทั้งขนาดและโทนเสียง)
ทาง Martin จึงได้ออกกีต้าร์ ทรง Dreadnought มาเพื่อสามารถให้เสียงที่ดัง
สามารถเล่นแข่ง/ส่งเสีงดัง เพื่อสู้กับเครื่องดนตรีประเภทอื่นๆ ในวง Bluegrass ได้

Martin Guitar ทรง Dreadnought ถูกเริ่มคิดค้น ในปี 1915-1930 เรื่อยมา
และ มาลงตัวสมบูรณ์แบบ ในปี 1934 คือ Martin D-28 (14 fret)

ถ้าพูดถึง กีต้าร์ทรงมาตรฐาน ก็คือ ทรงเดทนอท (Dreadnought) บ้างเรียกกันย่อๆว่า "กีต้าร์ทรง D"
ซึ่งเป็นกีต้าร์ ทรงยอดนิยม ที่สุด และได้รับความนิยมอย่างต่อเนื่องและยาวนานที่สุด 

คุณสมบัติอันโดดเด่นของกีต้าร์ทรง Dreadnought ก็คือ
สามารถตอบสนองการเล่นได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการเล่นสไตล์ดนตรีแบบไหน
ก็สามารถตอบสนองได้เป็นอย่างดี เรียกว่า over all จะเล่นสไตล์การเล่นแบบ strumming
หรือ finger picking ก็ตอบสนองหรือถ่ายทอดเสียงได้อย่างดี

Spirited Away

At the beginning of Spirited Away, Chihiro wants to be anywhere but in the car, driving to her new home in a new town.
Her woes quickly turn to fear when her father drives them down a lonely, desolate two-track lane that leads to what appears to be an abandoned theme park. Everything about the place spells “doom”—from the stoic statue they almost run into, to the dark tunnel and the empty game and food stalls beyond.

They are now in a new world, although Chihiro is the only one to sense it. Stumbling on a stall with piles of freshly cooked food, Chihiro’s parents greedily begin to eat. Chihiro refuses the food offered and instead wanders the abandoned stalls and meets Haku—a mysterious boy who already knows her name. He warns her to escape with her parents, only when finds them again she discovers they have turned into pigs.

Haku encourages her to take a job in the nearby bathhouse, both to survive and to formulate a plan to save her parents. This is no ordinary bathhouse, however. This bathhouse serves the gods, giving them a respite from their weary travels.
Chihiro must convince Yubaba, the owner and resident witch, to give her a job, and with the help of the six-armed master of the boiler room, Kamajii, and a bathhouse servant girl named Lin, she does.
The catch is, however, that Yubaba steals Chihiro’s name and re-names her Sen, which means Yubaba can keep control over Chihiro forever. Later she learns Haku is bound to Yubaba in a similar fashion.

Yubaba sees to it that Chihiro gets the worst jobs and prevents her from seeing her parents. At first Haku helps Chihiro, but the tables turn when she discovers him in his true form (as a dragon), sick and injured after stealing and swallowing the signil of Yubaba’s twin sister, Zeniba.
Chihiro gives him medicine and kills the slug Yubaba fed Haku to keep control over him. Then she travels by train to Zeniba’s to return the signil and apologize, in the hopes of healing him. Although Haku recovers and bargains with Yubaba to let Chihiro return to the outside world with her family, Chihiro ends up not needing his help.
As they fly back to Yubaba’s, Chihiro remembers why they felt they knew each other: he rescued her once when she fell into a river near her house as a child. She tells him his true name, lifting Yubaba’s curse from him.

Chihiro completes one final task in freeing her parents—successfully naming them from a pen full of pigs that all look alike. Except she tells Yubaba they’re not anywhere she can see them—and she’s right.
Created, drawn and directed by the great animator Hayao Miyazaki, Spirited Away is distinctly Japanese. What sets the film apart from other Disney animated films is not just that Chihiro is a young girl, but she’s a young girl with no special abilities who must survive on her wits.
“With Spirited Away I wanted to say to them ‘don’t worry, it will be alright in the end, there will be something for you’,” Miyazaki says, ” not just in cinema, but also in everyday life . . . Every time I wrote or drew something concerning the character of Chihiro and her actions, I asked myself the question whether my friend’s daughter or her friends would be capable of doing it. That was my criteria for every scene in which I gave Chihiro another task or challenge. Because it’s through surmounting these challenges that this little Japanese girl becomes a capable person.”

Baking Basics: How to make homemade pudding

Homemade Chocolate Pudding ~ Keeping a favorite childhood dessert simple and easy.

Homemade Chocolate Pudding

Homemade chocolate pudding is filed in my recipe box under the category Sunday desserts. Simple, easy, uncomplicated—everything I want my Sunday to be before I start the work week and that includes my dessert.
Simple in technique, rich in flavor and smooth in texture you will be licking your spoon clean. Pudding is the basis for a few desserts you will see featured this week, so I figured I might as well make it a Baking Basics feature. Especially since homemade pudding is so easily adaptable you can make it into just about any flavor you want once you have the base recipe mastered.

For now, this is a short and sweet post that is fitting for an uncomplicated dessert. And for those wondering, yes, this is ten times better than the box stuff and not that much longer or harder to make. Homemade pudding takes about 15 minutes make.

A few notes:

• Pudding is highly adaptable, so change out the chocolate portion to your flavor preference, i.e. peanut butter, Nutella, salted caramel, butterscotch, any fruit flavors by adding fruit puree, etc. Keep in mind you may have to adjust to the amount slightly for flavor and consistency.
• Don’t skimp the sieve portion. No matter how much you whisk a few cornstarch pellets well form and leave a lumpy texture if left unstrained.
• To store place plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent a skin from forming-that is unless you like it, in which case just cover at the container’s edge and refrigerate.

 

 

Homemade Chocolate Pudding

Makes approximately 5-6 cups

Ingredients:

• 1/3 cup cornstarch
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• Pinch of salt
• 3 cups cold whole milk
• 3/4 cups dark chocolate, chopped
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
1. Combine cirnstarch, sugar, salt and milk in a blender or food processor and pulse until well blended. Alternatively, combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk vigorously. Transfer mixture to a heat proof bowl and place over (not on) simmering water for approximately 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pudding is ready when mixture coats the back of the spoon.  Add chocolate or preferred flavor and stir to combine. Add vanilla and stir to combine.
